Dear Parents:

Hot Lunch this week Lasagna!

Thank you for coming to Parent-Teacher Conferences. If you did not make it, please call me for an appointment.

A Holiday Shopping Bazaar will be held in our Gym November 22 and 23. We need ALL parents to help put this major fund raising event together. Please contact Lisa Roberts to volunteer. Thank you for your support of your school.

This month begins the Pizza Hut Book-It Rewards. For students who turn in 250 pages per month, 2 magazine reports and 1 book report will receive a certificate good for a free personal pan pizza. The above items are already required so this does not add anything more to your student’s full schedule, but a reward for doing a job well-done. Congratulations to Claudia, Blake, Matthew, Isaac, Dakotah, Sara, and Ania for completing the first month!

Cup of Soup is available for students who forget their lunch, the price is $0.50.

For PE on Wednesdays and Friday, students need to have athletic shoes, which stay on their feet when running.

Students in grades 5 and 6 need to bring in a large empty can, clean with no label on it for a special Science Project.

If you have empty egg cartons, please bring them to the school.

Go Fish Concert, November 14, 2008 at the Life Bridge Church. Cost is $10.00 per person. Tickets can be purchased from Kathy Drake, 303 651 9547. Or contact Lloyd Petersen.

The Annual School Christmas Program will be at the Longmont Seventh-day Adventist Church December 20 at 11 a.m. Please put this on your calendar.

Students in grades 5 & 6 are to construct a personal time line of their own life. This is to include dates of important events, pictures (photos or drawn) and will be displayed in the classroom. This is due October 31. They also have a 1-2 page report on an ancient empire to write.
